CONTACT USWe were commissioned by the iconic dance event brand, Decades of Dance, to produce the official after-movie for their landmark 2025 Summerjam festival in Ellesmere Port. The objective was to create a powerful, cinematic highlight reel that captured the sheer scale, electric atmosphere, and unifying energy of the event.
Our production team captured the event utilizing a suite of Sony's cinema-grade cameras, including the FX6, FX3, and FX30, to achieve a broadcast-quality, cinematic image. Our operator employed a dynamic mix of techniques; stable tripod compositions captured the epic scale of the stage, while shoulder-rig and handheld work put the viewer right in the heart of the action on the dancefloor.
In post-production, the visuals were cut to a powerful, high-energy dance anthem, chosen specifically to represent the iconic sound of the Decades of Dance brand. The edit is rhythm-driven, meticulously syncing the visual narrative to the track to create a seamless and impactful viewing experience that feels both epic and immersive.
The final product is a high-impact, polished video asset designed to serve as both a timeless memento for attendees and a core marketing tool for future Decades of Dance events, encapsulating the pure adrenaline and communal joy that define their brand.

The Ellesmere Port Summerjam is a large-scale, two-day family festival held in Whitby Park, organized by the Ellesmere Port Roundtable. The event is designed to be a comprehensive community experience, providing a full weekend of entertainment for the town and surrounding areas.
The festival grounds feature a wide variety of entertainment with a focus on family-friendly attractions. This includes live music from tribute acts and cover bands, professional wrestling shows, performances by local dance troupes, and numerous activities and attractions specifically for children.
Decades of Dance is a key partner in the event, hosting one of the main music arenas. This dedicated stage is where they present their signature high-energy rave experience, bringing in a lineup of DJs to play classic dance anthems specifically for dance music enthusiasts.
This partnership creates a unique festival with a dual focus. It successfully combines a vibrant, all-ages community event with a dedicated, high-production dance music experience, offering a diverse range of entertainment across the festival site.
Our crew, featuring experienced videographers, on-camera talent, and certified remote pilots, documented the day's energy from every angle. This film showcases stunning aerial perspectives combined with immersive on-water footage, filmed directly from the boats alongside the participants.
