Chester Lunar New Year Festival 2025

We were honored to film Chester's Lunar New Year Festival 2025! The city came alive with spectacular dragon dances, traditional performances, and joyful celebrations as the community welcomed the Year of the Snake.

The festivities showcased the rich cultural heritage of Chester's Chinese community, with stunning displays that perfectly complemented the city's historic backdrop.

We captured the excitement and energy of this special day - from the dynamic performances to the smiling faces of everyone who joined in the celebrations. It was an amazing day full of color, sounds, and fun!

In Chinese tradition, the Snake represents wisdom and transformation - qualities that welcome the year ahead. The dragon dances and performances lit up Chester's historic streets as the community came together for this special event.

This was our first time filming in Chester and we loved every minute of it. Thanks to Wah Lei Association for having us document their celebrations, and thank you to Chester for make us so welcome!
