Innov8 Digital Media is seeking experienced and certified Independent Contractor Remote Pilots based in the UK to join our core operational team. We are focused on building long-term partnerships with skilled professionals for ongoing, project-based work. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for executing unmanned aerial systems (UAS) missions to acquire high-quality data and imagery for our clients.
What We Are Looking For:
- Required Certification: Must hold a current UK CAA A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC) as a minimum. GVC is preferred.
- Proven experience operating drones in a commercial capacity within the UK.
- A strong, practical understanding of UAS technology, flight planning software, and UK air law.
- Willingness and ability to work effectively within our CORE project management system for all project-related coordination.
- The ability to work independently and manage tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must own and maintain your own professional-grade drone equipment suitable for commercial work.
- Must carry and provide proof of current, EC 785/2004 compliant commercial drone insurance.
- Reliable transportation for travel to various client locations.
This is a contract position ideal for a self-motivated professional looking for a flexible, long-term partnership with a collaborative team.

Requirements
- A2 CofC or UK CAA GVC Minimum
- Valid and current EC 785/2004 compliant commercial drone insurance
- Valid Public Liability Insurance
- Valid Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Own professional drone(s)
Responsibilities
- Use our project management system (CogniTech CORE) to coordinate all projects
- Compile a list of project emergency contacts when required
- Conduct and record a pre-site survey and risk assessment when required
- Conduct and record an on-site survey and risk assessment when required
- Conduct and record pre-flight checks
- Upload complete and accurate flight logs post-flight
- Attain necessary permissions when required
- Attend a minimum of one hour project planning meeting per project
- Uphold 48 hour minimum response time to project communications
- Wear company provided uniform when required
