CONTACT USTo celebrate our first year in Chester we wanted to do something special for Chester, and teamed up with Visit Cheshire, Chester Cathedral, Eastgate Square, and the Chester Christmas Market to produce this cinematic short film, A Chester Christmas.
After carefully planning the storyboard and shot list, we set out to capture the beauty of the city by focusing on the some of the most iconic and well known locations in the city. We wanted to showcase some the most famous landmarks in Chester and really show off the Christmas feel of the city.
A Chester Christmas follows sisters Tabitha and Tallulah as they experience the magic of Christmas in Chester for the first time. Set in the heart of the City of Chester at Christmas time, the sisters explore the iconic Chester Cathedral, the magnificent Eastgate Square Shopping Centre, and the Chester Christmas Market.
During pre-production we carried out an extensive scheduling and storyboard plan, and set out to capture the cinematic footage.
We shot the film in Chester City over three days, with the Sony FX3 and DZOFILM Vespid Prime 25mm/Vespid Prime 50mm/Vespid Prime 125mm, supported by the Tilta Ring Grip and DFCine Camera Vest. Drone footage was captured with DJI Mini 4 Pro.
